Reading Getting Started with Blogging and Google Adsense, by Joel Comm, lead to applying for a Google Adsense account today. That felt like a big hurdle for some reason! But I’m past it. I obviously read a lot by Joel and it has all been really helpful.
HTML has driven me crazy today trying to figure out how to get the right links back to Amazon from the books mentioned in my previous posts. I think I got it! I hope I got it! (I’ll scream if I didn’t!)
I’ve been working on a website and hope to finish that up tomorrow complete with adsense code. The next step is signing up with a hosting company. I’m pretty sure it will be Blue Host.
Wish me success!

Each day is so full of opportunities. I’m having a great time, and at the same time, getting much better at maintaining my focus on my priorities.
Last Friday I must have received about 11 emails promoting Mark Joyner’s new book, The Great Formula
. I did buy it. I love the list of bonuses. I’ve not read anything by him before, but I look forward to the book and expect to learn a ton.
Now today, it was Joel Comm’s new book, The Adsense Code
, that was being promoted. I bought that too, but am clearly building a resource library. This one seems especially appropriate since I have chosen to focus on building adsense sites first.
I’m also testing the affiliate marketing waters. HTML and getting links on this blog are my current challenge. We’ll soon see if I have been successful yet.
More later…..

It’s been too long since I last posted. I’ve been making progress, though….
I have read Joel Comm’s How to Build a Website Fast. It’s really comprehensive and readable. Gave me a great overview and helped make the process look less daunting.
I also read Robert Allen’s Multiple Streams of Internet Income
. Tons of great information with countless links and recommendations. Very readable and enjoyable.
As mentioned, my first project is to create some adsense content sites. To do that (hopefully) properly I subscribed to a program that provides well researched content in 12 “high-profit, high-traffic” niches each month (more on that later). So far I have found the whole program to be an exceptional value, with great content and even better support.
To learn more about adsense I looked to an expert, and purchased Joel Comm’s Making Money with Adsense. Haven’t read it yet, but it’s on the top of the pile.
