Archive for the ‘Articles’ Category

The post title asks the very important question: Can I write articles after all?

My answer is, yes, maybe I can! I’m going to hold off on being too thrilled yet and give it some time.

I am one of those that has had a horrible time trying to write articles. I have felt dead, no ideas, no flow, no energy, etc. Now I recently joined a blog network for backlinks and posting original articles is a requirement. In doing this, I have started to feel some flow and ease with writing conversationally about a topic after just a little research. Something has shifted.

The advice I received for writing the posts was to write as if I was writing in my own blog. It’s not to anybody, it’s not for anybody. It’s just writing down my ideas right or wrong. It feels good.

It would be so cool to be able to write articles with ease. I could publish a ton more original content and it would save me a ton in outsourcing.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Also got my hands on a great little program for assisting with rewriting content to prepare an article for spinning. Much more powerful than any others I have tried. Looking forward to playing with that some more too.

Finally, got a promotion in my email today regarding Dragon Naturally Speaking. That’s the software that types in what you speak, so instead of having to type stuff out, it does the typing for you and you just speak. I’m tempted. I have heard only fabulous reviews about it, and how much time it saves people. Great discount too.

That’s all for now. Thanks for visiting.

P.S. One more thing — The Script Illusion guys have created a pinging program and made it available to everybody. It pings like 92 directories and is fabulous for static sites, articles, and pinging social networking blogs and sites. It’s wonderful, especially because the old standard - pingomatic - has not been working for me. I’m going to be pinging all of my content. Very cool. You can find it at pingler.com.
