Slow Indexing

By Deb | Jun 9, 2007
I created a new blog about 2 1/2 weeks ago in the natural health niche. I have posted to it almost daily, and I am shocked to find that it is not yet indexed by google. Very interesting. I have submitted the site to many social networking and bookmarking sites. I have claimed it on Technorati. I made some comments on several PR4-6 blogs. I ping with each post, but it's still not indexed! What's going on here? The most recent websites I created were indexed in about 3 days. The 2 differences I can… Continue reading

Getting Indexed by Google

By Deb | Jan 27, 2007
The news today is that one of my 3 new sites is now indexed by Google. I don't know exactly when I initially published it, but 3 days ago I submitted it to a bunch of social bookmarking sites, and then 2 days ago I linked to it from some Article Underground announcer blogs. I have a couple links from 2 different sources, and the site is indexed. Pretty cool and pretty fast! Now my job is to get hundreds or thousands of links going that direction. I've started the process of submitting articles to ezinearticles.com… Continue reading

There is a private forum that is very active. I visit daily. There's a ton of good discussion going on. The tone is friendly and encouraging. There are detailed explanations of how to implement… Continue reading

I had worked with CaRP before and found this to be pretty cumbersome. MSI Fetch allows you to configure and update the feed via a webpage, while CaRP requires you to update a file via FTP and program all the html yourself. I definitely prefer the webpage access. I also did some more work with tag and ping. This is sort of time consuming, but hopefully worth it in the… Continue reading
