RSS and Ping

Today I added a new RSS setup to my marketing website. The software is MSI Fetch, which is free and fairly easy to install and configure. I had worked with CaRP before and found this to be pretty cumbersome. MSI Fetch allows you to configure and update the feed via a webpage, while CaRP requires you to update a file via FTP and program all the html yourself. I definitely prefer the webpage access. A Little More Frustrating Today!

Reading Getting Started with Blogging and Google Adsense, by Joel Comm, lead to applying for a Google Adsense account today. That felt like a big hurdle for some reason! But I'm past it. I obviously read a lot by Joel and it has all been really helpful. HTML has driven me crazy today trying to figure out how to get the right links back to Amazon from the books mentioned in my previous posts. I think I got it! I hope I got it! Keeping Very Busy!

Each day is so full of opportunities. I'm having a great time, and at the same time, getting much better at maintaining my focus on my priorities. Last Friday I must have received about 11 emails promoting Mark Joyner's new book, The Great Formula. I did buy it. I love the list of bonuses.
