The last few days have been filled with mapping strategy, keyword research, and catching up on reading. I’ve been reading the series of ebooks in JP Schoeffel’s, How to Turn Sites into Money. These are valuable so far for his analysis of the state of internet marketing (i.e. adsense sites alone are no longer viable) and his recommendations for how to monetize for success. He talks about building a group of websites based on different aspects of the same niche, basically building “silos” and linking them to a central landing page.
His Niches-In-A-Box membership is based on that concept. I have to admit I’m very interested in it, believing I could learn a lot. We’ll see.
System Restore is now functioning beautifully on my computer. I did get a response to my inquiry on the Tablet Questions forum. The response just referred me to another website that I had already scoured in an effort to troubleshoot, so I thought it wasn’t helpful. But I went back to that site anyway and played around somemore, tried some things that shouldn’t work, and voila!, discovered that System Restore was restored! Puzzling process, but very gratifying in the end.
I’m also reading an ebook, Blog With Success, by Shannon Herod. I’m looking forward to implementing some of his recommendations. You can look forward to some evolution on this blog in the near future.
