Lots going on today. I started to look into the issue of smart pricing because of the relatively low earnings I am receiving on adsense clicks.
Smart pricing may be due to perceived conversion rates after a click on your site. It may be based on how targeted the traffic is perceived to be on your site. It may be based on a whole bunch of things that nobody but Google knows for sure.
As a result I decided to take the adsense blocks off a number of my sites, the ones that I have promoted the least. Instead I added Omakase ads from Amazon. That should work out okay, at least in the short term. I applied for Azoogle Ads which, as I understand it, is a CPA network. I also applied for the Yahoo! Publishers Network. Approval is pending on both of those.
Another replacement option that I already have is CBadbox, which is clickbank ads in a contextual sort of format. I’ll play with those a little tomorrow.
It’s great to be aware of so many options — and I know there are many more.
I’ve also been checking into a couple of options for earning some income off of parked domains. I’ll write more on that once I get more information and make some decisions.
Thanks for visiting! Have a good one…
