Website Design with XSitePro and Firefox

By Deb | Jan 5, 2007

Today I was working on updating a website that I’ve had going for a number of months. The site got a new header graphic and some new colors and a couple new articles. I used XSitePro for the website design. As I went along I used the preview a couple times to get a sense of what the finished product would look like, and sometimes the result reminded me of a Picasso painting. The website structure was all over the place and everything was everywhere but where I would expect it to be. Frustrating.

Ultimately I realized that if I viewed the website in Explorer, it looked great. It was only askew when I viewed it in Firefox. Boo! I love Firefox, but do I have to do my web design with Explorer? Usually when I view websites in Firefox they look fine. The problem just occurs sometimes during and just after the design process. Boo. Not sure how to resolve this one.

Have a good weekend.

P.S. aLink worked great yesterday! The hyperlink shows up after I publish the post. I bet it will work today too!
