The first websites I ever built were created with XSitePro web design software v1.0. I purchased the software on the recommendation of many other marketers, most of whom said it was super easy to use right out of the box. Well, I found I had a little longer learning curve than that, but for the most part had little trouble getting a website up and running.
Actually the program is very simple and very complicated at the same time. By complicated I guess I mean powerful. You can make the simplest one page sales letter or 3 page minisite or you can create an authority site where you schedule content to be posted over time and create multiple pages using tokens for really quickly adding content. But you don’t have to learn any of the advanced stuff to create really effective websites. That’s probably what I like the most.

You can create the layout, add the content, incorporate affiliate or adsense links, and upload the site to the server from the same control panel. You can do all of these tasks or just one. I skip around all the time.
When version 2 was released I upgraded right away because of all the added features. Features like scheduling content to be posted over time, creating RSS feeds, easily incorporating RSS feeds into your content. They also include dozens and dozens of updated templates. That’s literally just the beginning of the list of new features, but they caught my attention because in many ways they allow XSitePro to mimic the Wordpress platform.
And I love working with Wordpress. But, overall, I’d have to say XSitePro website design software has a shorter learning curve than Wordpress. It’s really easy to tweak a template in XSP. With WP you really can’t avoid digging into the CSS style sheet or other code to make the changes you want. That can be scary.
With XSitePro, you rarely have to touch the code, although sometimes it’s easier to go this route once you know some basic HTML. With the design capabilities, my sites can look however I want them to. I can incorporate stripes and wide layouts like a web2.0 site or go more basic.
Okay, enough. I won’t keep going on here. I’ll conclude by saying XSitePro is convenient, quick and versatile to use. I wouldn’t be without it.
